ESL Subjects Which ESL subjects do you like? Do you like Math, Science, English, History, Art, Literature, and etc? Even though ESL is normally considered to be English. What if it was French as a Second Language, Spanish as a Second Language, German as a Second Language, Japanese as a Second Language, or Chinese as a Second Language? How do we respond to studying and learning a Second Language other than English? Would you be as interested in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in a language that wasn’t designed for English? Prepare yourself for the future. Study and learn at least 2 languages other than your own and you should be versatile. Pick and choose very carefully your future languages because you will be carrying a big load of subjects associated with those languages. Depending on the culture you live in the schools and businesses will have access to a wide variety of languages. The country you live in will be doing business with major businesses around the world. If you don’t have the ability to learn and study a language other than English go online and search for distance learning schools. Be motivated enough to try and receive two certificates that will show you have completed learning two other languages. Technology will spread around the world and allow young people to pursue work in other countries. I don’t have any certificates but I studied French when I was in France for 3 years. At that time I could read, write, and speak in French. I am presently married to a Chinese woman and will learn conversation Chinese. If you need help with your English Conversation speaking with an American I can be your tutor. |
